Inês Amaral nasceu em Portugal e vive em Sintra. Com formação académica em Fisiologia Clínica e Engenharia Biomédica, a arte sempre foi uma das suas grandes paixões, tendo o desenho sido a sua primeira forma de expressão dessa paixão.
Mais tarde foi através da fotografia que Inês encontrou o seu lugar de expressão artística. Atualmente a concluir o Curso Profissional de Fotografia no Instituto Português de Fotografia, o seu trabalho abrange o retrato humano, seja na intimidade de um momento espontâneo ou na narrativa cuidada de uma sessão de moda, e também a arquitectura e o registo de eventos. Na arquitectura, encontra o mesmo fascínio que tem pelas pessoas: a história que os espaços guardam, a forma como a luz transforma uma estrutura em algo vivo. Nos eventos, está presente para capturar o que não se repete, o detalhe, a emoção, o instante que define um momento.

Inês Amaral was born in Portugal and currently lives in Sintra. With her academic background in Clinical Physiology and Biomedical Engineering, art has always been one of her great passions, with drawing being her first form of artistic expression.
It was later, through photography, that Inês found her place of artistic expression. Currently completing the Professional Photography Course at the Instituto Português de Fotografia, her work spans human portraiture, whether in the intimacy of a spontaneous moment or the carefully crafted narrative of a fashion shoot, as well as architecture and event photography. In architecture, she finds the same fascination she has for people: the stories spaces hold, the way light transforms a structure into something alive. At events, she is present to capture what cannot be repeated, the detail, the emotion, the instant that defines a moment.
